A cross-country road trip in my rusty, 1994 Volvo. Living in my van in the Finger Lakes region with my alpha-female German Shepherd. A six-month backpacking trip from New York City to Miami on highways and backroads and from stranger's house to stranger's house.
This is a glimpse of the life Anna Elisabeth Soule, a mother and grandmother of two and former bartender and producer, has lived since she decided to cut her societal tethers and trust the path.
Now a published author of her first book Cutting Tethers, which she wrote from a small room in the Florida Keys, Soule plans to continue the series with four more books and inspire others to step beyond the bounds of normal into a life of untethered joy.
